Torrid coupon codes

A plus size specialist, not a plus size section

Torrid opened its first store in the Brea Mall in California in April 2001 and built the whole business around sizes 10 to 30, rather than bolting an extended range onto a straight-size label. That focus is the reason the fit tends to be more consistent than at general retailers, where plus sizing is often graded up from a smaller block. The chain grew past 650 stores across the United States and parts of Canada, so unlike many online brands you can also try things on in person before ordering online.

Intimates are a bigger part of the business than the clothing alone would suggest, with bras and panties carrying their own sizing system and their own promotions, usually separate from whatever is running on apparel.

How the offers are structured

Torrid rarely runs a single flat discount. Instead the promotions stack up as parallel events: a percentage range on dresses with a starting price attached, clearance capped at a low fixed price, bras from a set price, multibuy deals on panties such as five for a fixed total, and buy one get two free across clearance. Because these overlap, the cheapest route depends on your basket rather than on a single best code. A dress plus two clearance pieces is usually better served by the buy one get two free offer, while a single full price item is where a sitewide percentage wins. Torrid Rewards is free to join and adds member-only offers on top.

For other US fashion, Unique Vintage and Cupshe CA sit in different niches.
